Profile

An educator and advisor with 30 years spent building, running, and turning around businesses — and the last decade turning that experience into how other people learn. Adjunct professor at IIIT Hyderabad and a longtime startup coach, I teach product, strategy, and entrepreneurship the way I learned them: by doing, failing, and reflecting.

My teaching starts from the outcomes a learner actually needs and works backward to the experience that gets them there — real cases, live simulations, and stories drawn from my own ventures. I bring the same lens to founders and small businesses as an advisor: less theory, more of what genuinely moves a company forward. I've never considered any experience wasted; the lessons always find their way into the room.

Selected Experience
Adjunct Professor · IIIT Hyderabad
2022 – Present
Teach one graduate course each semester — currently Product Lifecycle Management and Product Marketing (previously Entrepreneurship). Redesigned the courses from rote skill transfer toward an experience- and viewpoint-driven model, and mentor engineering students on hands-on product projects.
Founder & Principal Coach · Funding Pitchcraft
2023 – 2026
Ran a coaching and consulting practice helping founders get investor-ready. Coached 17 founders through investor pitching and built the models, frameworks, templates, and online courses sold through the site — reaching roughly 3,500 online learners.
Program Lead, Accelerator Programs · T-Hub, Hyderabad
2020 – 2021
Led T-Angel and Lab32 — designing and overseeing the operations and execution of both accelerator programs.
COO, Program Director & EIR · Spark10 Accelerator
2016 – 2018
Ran India operations and P&L; scouted, reviewed, and evaluated startups for investment; coached founders on strategy, operations, and marketing.
Founder & Chief Instructor · FUTRED/IN Workshops
2013 – 2016
Built an eleven-module leadership program (leadership, decision-making, risk, communication, creative thinking, analytics) and trained 300+ professionals across Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Bangalore. Designed and delivered a life-skills program at CVR Engineering College — 40+ sessions for 2,000+ students.
Founder & Principal Startup Coach · Acutance Consulting
2011 – 2016
Coached startup founders on strategy, operations, and leadership. Engagements included a factory-operations restructuring for Suprabha Plastics (Pune) that lifted operating margins ~25%, and a manufacturing set-up for Titan Tyres (Dar es Salaam, Tanzania).
Across these roles, I've coached roughly 150 founders over my career.
Earlier Career

The foundation for how I teach and advise today — two decades of building software, running quality and process for large IT-services firms, and starting my first companies.
